Reporting to the General Manager OS Maintenance, you will lead the Maintenance Department focused on providing shutdown services across our mines to ensure coordination  and safe execution of maintenance activities to optimise performance and equipment availability across our mines.

As an effective leader, you will build the culture and capability of the team. You will lead the team to operate in a climate of continuous improvement, being accountable and ensuring that all work is aligned with business-critical success factors. In this role, you will cultivate strong relationships through effective communication and consultation and shape the culture to ensure a safe, productive, quality, sustainable and disciplined approach to work.

The Manager Maintenance will successfully lead the team in :

• Ensuring a safe system of work to protect the health and safety of people and the environment in accordance with Statutory BHP requirements
• Ensuring an engaged culture, inclusive and diverse culture, where everyone is motivated to their full potential
• Improve productivity and disciplined application of the OS Model, and its standards, processes, and systems.

About You

You will be a forward-thinking leader with a strong focus on safety, inclusion and diversity, productivity and maximising the benefit of technology. Your solid understanding of maintenance and engineering practices will be supported by relevant qualifications and experience in delivering outstanding results in asset maintenance, or a similar discipline.

A performance and achievement orientated professional, your leadership and technical strengths, and experience working within large complex organisations will be complemented by excellent engagement and communication skills. An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment, and sustainable development are essential.
