The Opportunity :
We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Fabricators - Welders and Apprentices to join our manufacturing team at our workshop in Gympie.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Welding and fabrication of various works
- Aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel welding (MIG and TIG)
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Fitting and assembling components into final products through welding, riveting, or other joining methods
- Performing quality assurance (QA) checks
- Polishing, filing, sanding, cleaning assembled products
About You :
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have the following :
Fabrication Trade Certificate III in Engineering or partial completion of a Fabrication ApprenticeshipExcellent fabrication and welding skillsProven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or fabrication environmentGood communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervisionWhat We Offer :
