As a Customer Support officer, you'll play a key role in supporting our claims teams by managing a variety of payments and administrative tasks. You'll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure payments are processed accurately and on time, helping to finalise workers compensation claims efficiently and with care.

This role is essential in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, allowing our case managers and specialist teams to focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for injured workers and their employers.

This will be a full time, permanent position based in the Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process payments in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Provide advice with regards to payment queries and processes.
  • Investigate over and under payments and gaps in compensation entitlements.
  • Finalising claims management activities ready for closure
  • General administration as required (i.e. following up medical report requests, claims systems work queues, letter creation and sending, managing medical and like requests etc)

ABOUT YOU

  • 1-2 years experience in an administrative role or a customer service environment.
  • Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel for basic document creation and data entry.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to provide accurate and reliable administrative support in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Good attention to detail with a focus on accuracy when completing tasks.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
