Automotive Prep Labourer

Trades Workforce Solutions is on the hunt for skilled Labourers to join our esteemed client in the Southeastern Suburbs. Our client is at the forefront of the Motor Vehicle Industry, equipped with the latest repair technology, and offers a stable, long-term work environment.

About the Role :  In this position, you'll be working on new vehicles, sanding automotive panels and tasked with restoring them to pristine condition in preparation for spray coating. Your expertise will help address dents, scratches, and blemishes, ensuring every vehicle meets the highest industry and safety standards.

Job Requirements :

Previous experience in automotive repair or a similar laboring role

Proficiency in vehicle restoration, including dent repair and surface preparation

Skilled in assessing damage and restoring vehicles to their original condition

Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

Physically capable of working across various areas of the workshop

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Reliable with consistent transport to and from the workplace

Must be able to pass a Police Check

About You :

To succeed in this role, you should have :

A valid driver’s license

A solid work ethic, with a focus on reliability, punctuality, and safety

Prior automotive industry experience (highly regarded but not essential)

A team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
