This is a key role within the People and Culture leadership team. It is accountable for leading a high performing group of payroll and systems specialists.

The Role

This is a key role within the People and Culture leadership team. It is accountable for leading a high performing group of payroll and systems specialists.

This role is part of the Centre of Expertise and leads a team of technical specialists in areas that provide governance in people matters and unlock organisational capacity, capability and opportunity.

6 month contract with the potential for permanency.

The Duties

Lead the delivery of a timely and accurate payroll service that meets all legislative requirements

Ensure accurate time, attendance and leave management

Management of the architect and security of employee records

Owns the organisational wide workforce plan and links with relevant stakeholders to ensure it is relevant and accurate

Review the current payroll and people systems and processes for efficiency opportunities and risk mitigation purposes

Efficiently process invoices for payment as required

Required Skills and Experience

Relevant tertiary qualification

Significant experience as a Payroll practitioner

Desirable - Experience leading a team of HR specialists and payroll experts

Desirable - PowerBI and TechnologyOne experience
