About the Role
Depending on the shift, you will work in either retail or hospital (or both) pharmacy settings, delivering high-quality pharmacy services to retail customers and hospital patients alike.

Key responsibilities:

• Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
• Provide medication counselling & education to patients.
• Conduct medication reviews
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
• Work cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide advice about patient care.
• Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
• Support patients, carers, medical centre, hospital staff and associated employees
• Consider financial implications of medication use in hospital and for patients obtaining the medicines in the community.

Available Shifts
Kindly indicate your shift preferences in the application questionnaire. We can offer some flexibility with shift times.

• Retail - Monday, Tuesday & Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm)
• Hospital - Saturday (8:00am – 12:00pm)

About You
You’re a registered Pharmacist ready to take the next step in your career. Whether you’re seeking to transition into your first hospital pharmacy role, or after reduced hours in a part-time role, we welcome all to apply. Essential requirements:

• General Pharmacist Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia, and no restrictions on practice
• Australian working rights, valid for the duration of the contract.
• Personal Indemnity insurance.
