About the Company :

Our client is an Australian retail brand offering a high-quality service to their customer base. With a global presence and a commitment to sustainability, our client is looking for a new Financial Accountant to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities :

  • General Ledger & Reconciliations : Complete all reconciliations accurately and on time.
  • Account Review : Ensure correct postings and promptly resolve issues.
  • Month-End Accounts : Assist with month-end accounts to meet deadlines.
  • Fixed Asset Management : Maintain the fixed asset register, capitalise assets, post depreciation, process disposals, and test for impairment.
  • Cashflow Management : Assist in maximising cashflow and update the cashflow document daily for a -month forecast.
  • Purchase Orders : Monitor POs, ensure accurate stock receipts, and maintain correct stock levels.
  • Stock Payments : Apply stock payments and reconcile stock deposits and exchange rate gains / losses monthly.
  • Payroll Coordination : Ensure accurate payroll recording and regular reconciliations.
  • Lease Reconciliation : Reconcile lease payments with IFRS schedules and resolve discrepancies.
  • Team Leadership : Lead by example, upholding values and standards.

Qualifications / Skill Set :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA qualification preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
