Esl Teacher

We are a small RTO delivering nationally recognised VET qualifications in business, cookery and hospitality, and ELICOS.

We require a part-time qualified ESL teacher to deliver our ELICOS program to our student cohort.

• Duties
• Prepare for, deliver and test English courses offered by the RTO
• Participate in course validation and moderation
• Mark, correct and provide feedback on students' assignments and assessments
• Maintain students' attendance
• Generate student reports
• Manage resources effectively and efficiently
• Provide general academic support as directed by the Academic Manager
• Undertake and participate in other related activities / projects / duties as directed.
• Essential Selection Criteria
• Expert level of General and Academic English
• Certificate IV or above in TESOL, or equivalent
• Bachelor degree or above
• Understanding of student needs and passionate in student support
• High level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Two or more years experience teaching ESL to international students
• Unrestricted right to work in Australia
• Willingness to obtain a Police Check
• Currently residing within normal commuting distance of Slacks Creek, QLD

Remuneration $60-65K pro-rata depending on qualifications and experience. This is the full-time equivalent, salary calculated on a pro-rata basis.

The position commences immediately.

Part-time hours : 20 per week
