CNC Operator - Metal

We are on the hunt for experienced Metal CNC Operators to join our client, an iconic Australian Doors and Windows manufacturing business in Dandenong . These positions will be on a full-time ongoing casual basis and include assembly and production of high-end doors and windows for commercial projects.



Working in a team, your other responsibilities will include:

• Operating the CNC machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings
• Select appropriate cutting tools, machine speeds and feeds to optimise machining process
• Monitoring machines to ensure they are in optimal working condition
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operating Manuals in an efficient manner
• Supporting team members to ensure production goals and deadlines are achieved
• Contributing to the culture of continuous improvement and safety

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to demonstrate:

• Demonstrated experience operating CNC machines to produce metal parts
• Mechanical aptitude and an ability to read basic assembly diagrams and cutting sheets, with strong attention to detail ensuring correct assembly, positions, and orientation.
• Current Driver's License and own reliable vehicle
• Enthusiastic, detail oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
• Full working rights to work in Australia
