Overview

Australian Training Company has an excellent opportunity available to applicants who are interested in commencing or completing their apprenticeship in Certificate III Roof Plumbing. This apprenticeship provides hands-on learning from a qualified industry tradesperson in the north and south areas of Brisbane and Gold Coast. Apprentices will learn various hand tools and equipment, operating / working at heights, installing roof drainage components, external flashings, and installing various roof sheeting profiles. This is a full-time apprenticeship with the opportunity to earn while you learn, working Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Learn and apply skills in roof plumbing, including use of hand tools and equipment.
Operate / work at heights, install roof drainage components and external flashings.
Install various roof sheeting profiles.
Follow site safety procedures and work as part of a team.

Qualifications and Attributes

Great attention to detail

Good manual dexterity

High level of motivation

Ability to follow instructions

Eagerness to learn

Ability to work as part of a team

Possess good time management skills

Car and license required

Must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency

Job Details

Location : Brisbane & Gold Coast

Hours : Full-time, 38 hours per week

Start date : ASAP

Salary : Paid under the Plumbing and Fire Sprinklers Award 2020
