Casual Junior Ad Copywriter
Pay Rate : $31.19 an hour (includes casual loading)
Education Requirement : You must have completed or be in the process of completing a degree in a marketing or marketing related field (marketing, communications, commerce, business, literature, psychology, social media).
Overview
You’ll be writing both ad copy and video scripts for image and video ads on Meta and Google. To do this job, you’ll need a sense of humour, of empathy, of poetry and of style.
Persuasive copywriting is both art and science. You love diving into the emotional mind of a consumer and finding ways to tell the story of a product.
If I could describe writing for advertising in a simple, five step process it is this :
You’ve always written. Words have spoken to you, and you have been compelled to do their bidding.
If the idea of getting to know products, brands and consumers in a whole new way excites you.
If writing short, punchy, persuasive content is something that comes naturally to you.
