The Position

We are currently seeking a General Practitioner to join a well-established and thriving practice located just 40 minutes from Toowoomba. The practice is expanding due to high demand, and there is flexibility for the new GP to choose their preferred patient base. Whether you want to focus on private billings or manage patients from the adjacent 130-bed aged care home, this role can be tailored to your strengths and interests. Additionally, there is the unique option to eventually take over the practice and lead its future direction.

The Practice

The clinic features 5 consulting rooms and strong nurse support from two Registered Nurses available on all consulting days. The practice serves a large and loyal patient base, ensuring full books right away. The lead GP, who has been with the practice for many years, is fully booked and happy to focus on aged care patients, leaving the new GP to manage private billing clients or take on a mix of patients. As part of a non-profit organisation, the practice pays payroll tax and has no concerns about payroll tax implications. The practice offers $85 for a standard consultation with no hesitation in privately billing new patients. The clinic is integrated with nearby services including podiatry, chiropractic, physiotherapy, and pathology, offering a complete healthcare environment for the local community.
