Civil Crew Leader - Pipeline Renewals

Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with 30 years' industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation : the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

• The Opportunity

Due to ongoing business growth, we are looking for a Crew Leader to join our VIC Operations team. Supported by our experienced and highly skilled Supervisors, you will be responsible for leading a small team of competent field crew.

The work is interesting, varied and involves the management of equipment in pipeline renewal. Your background may be from one of the following :

• Pipe maintenance experience such as cleaning, pipe lining, CCTV, WinCam or plumbing.
• Civil construction experience
• Water or wastewater infrastructure
• Or you might be looking to learn something new - If you have worked as a team leader, crew leader, supervisor, or manager in a different industry we would still like to hear from you!
• Key Selection Criteria : _
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Previous leadership experience
• OHS Construction Induction Card (White card)
• Have the ability to work on sites across Greater Brisbane
• Good work ethic and positive work attitude
• A strong focus on safety and basic mechanical knowledge
• Excavator experience

HR or MR licence, Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights licences are desirable but not essential.
