Join Mater Research as a Clinical Trial Team Lead supporting Mater in South Brisbane and Springfield, where you will have the opportunity to lead the expansion of the Mater Clinical Trials Service to address the research needs of the local community. This is a full-time maximum-term contract role pivotal in establishing and managing the Springfield clinical trial team, ensuring alignment with Mater’s strategic research priorities and operational standards.

As the Clinical Trial Team Lead, you will provide clinical trial leadership and expertise to support the phased implementation of the Springfield research initiative. Key duties include leading the expansion of the Mater Clinical Trials Service, facilitating training for research staff, embedding clinical research into routine care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to promote research awareness, participation, and integration into local health services.

About you

To excel in this role, you will need :

  • AHPRA nursing registration, with a minimum of five years of experience in nursing and a relevant field of research
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in effectively liaising with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in clinical leadership, trial coordination, management, and mentoring roles
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, including standard Microsoft applications
  • Current ICH GCP certification and a commitment to guiding principles for clinical trial activities
