As we continue to innovate and grow, we're seeking a talented Project Engineer - Electrical to join our team for the exciting Western Downs BESS Stage 2 project .
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a site-based DIDO / FIFO role located at Western Downs near Chinchilla, QLD.
You will be assisting in conceptual and detailed engineering for HV substations, solar, battery, and electrical Balance of Plant (BOP) systems. Ensuring timely and cost-effective project completion in line with client contracts will be your key focus.
Your duties and responsibilities will include :
- Assist in project forecasting and constructability assessments.
- Supervise commissioning activities with the site commissioning teams.
- Develop ITPs and work packs for electrical installation work packages.
- Review electrical works, and test sheets, and approve ITPs upon completion.
- Support the Project Manager in ensuring compliance with UGL's Management System documentation.
Your skills and experience :
