Since 1977, King Living has pioneered quality Australian design, continually pushing the boundaries of what furniture can achieve.

Designed to adapt to our changing lives and last for generations, our furniture marries the power of innovation with traditional handcrafted methods.

King Living has expanded from a homegrown business into a global brand. A family owned and run Australian company headquartered from our Support Office in Sydney, our Showrooms and manufacturing centres span Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, USA, China and Thailand.

At King Living, we are dedicated to creating simplicity and balance in both our living spaces and our work environment. We take pride in our past accomplishments and are thrilled by the possibilities of the future.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an analytical and commercially-minded Demand & Supply Planner to join our global planning team on a 6-month contract . In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate forecasts, aligning production plans with business needs, and ensuring timely stock availability across King Living’s international operations.

This is a cross-functional role, working closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and our manufacturing partners to drive clarity, continuity and confidence across demand and supply. From promotional forecasting to replenishment orders and S&OP leadership, this contract position offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a critical planning period for our global business.

If you thrive on detail, have strong Excel and forecasting capabilities, and are excited by the idea of working in a global design-led retail brand, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

  • Manage demand and supply for an assigned product category across multiple global markets
  • Maintain and update rolling 18-month forecasts (volume and gross sales) using Excel and S&OP inputs
  • Lead demand planning meetings, ensuring alignment across Commercial, Marketing and Production teams
  • Place weekly replenishment orders based on forecasted demand and production capacity
  • Liaise with factories and suppliers to communicate forecast changes and ensure timely delivery
  • Track and own key KPIs including DIFOT, forecast accuracy, and inventory levels
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) planning
  • Partner with Finance to provide accurate SKU volumes for revenue forecasting and business planning
  • Drive ongoing process improvements across forecasting, inventory optimisation, and supply chain systems
  • Flexibility to attend global meetings across North America and Europe outside standard AEST hours

About You

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or a related field
  • You bring 2-3 years’ experience in demand / supply planning, ideally within the retail or furniture sectors
  • You have advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL and Power BI
  • You’re confident managing inventory across global distribution centres and balancing stock levels
  • You’re highly analytical and detail-driven, with a proven ability to interpret and action large data sets
  • You’ve led or contributed to demand planning reviews and capacity planning processes
  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills and can influence decisions through data-driven insights
  • You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with teams across time zones
  • You are an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights
  • You’re available to work from our Turrella Support Centre and 1-2 days per week from our Smithfield warehouse
  • Why You will Love Working with Us

  • Daily Perks : freshly brewed coffee from our onsite barista - fuel your day with a perfect cup.
  • Generous Discounts : handsome employee and family & friends discounts on our premium products.
