CDC NSW has 11 workshops across greater Sydney and the Hunter region. Our workshops are large, modern and well equipped with all up to date tools and equipment our teams need. Safety is our number one priority. Our equipment is well maintained and we are proud to hold both our ISO 9001 (Quality) as well as ISO 55000 (Assets) standards. We offer the opportunity to work on a variety of makes and models including diesel products from Volvo, Scania, Iveco and Mercedes right through to the latest in zero emission and electric buses.
About The Role
You’ll work on a modern fleet of buses in a safety-first environment, with reliable hours, strong job security, and long-term career opportunities. This role suits a mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to be part of an essential service.
Our Diesel Mechanics
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot the diesel engines for our buses.
- Diagnose engine faults.
- Perform regular servicing such as oil changes and filter replacements.
- Conduct complex repairs on components like fuel systems, turbochargers, and exhaust systems.
- Attend to breakdowns, accidents and incidents.
