THE ROLE

At JD Sports, our customer is at the heart of everything we do. As a Sales Assistant, your goal is to provide exceptional customer service, creating memorable shopping experiences and fostering a positive connection to our brand. You should be energetic, genuine, and customer-focused, offering personalized assistance to customers seeking the best products and brands.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Acting as a brand ambassador, demonstrating positivity and professionalism
  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to assist customers effectively
  • Providing personalized 1 : 1 customer service
  • Assisting customers with queries and processing sales
  • Collaborating with management and the store team to achieve KPIs and targets
  • Supporting the team with tasks such as visual merchandising setup, store cleanliness, and presentation
  • Escalating customer complaints to management
  • Completing mandatory training related to products, policies, and procedures

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or similar industries
  • Ability to provide excellent service and go above and beyond
  • Passion for sports fashion or knowledge of key brands
  • A positive, can-do attitude and team player mentality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Enthusiasm to overcome challenges and learn new skills
  • Strong communication skills and engagement with customers and team members
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
