The Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA) is a subsidiary of the City of Adelaide (CoA) under Section 42 of the Local Government Act 1999 . AEDA’s focus is to grow a strong economy for Adelaide, by attracting investment and supporting businesses, festivals and events, as well as visitor, student and residential growth.
The AEDA’s purpose is to deliver on its four year Strategic Plan by positioning the City of Adelaide as a destination of choice for property and business investment and to live, study or visit.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking expressions of interest to serve as a Member of the Adelaide Economic Development Agency Board. The Board is a ‘skills-based’ Board, and as a Board Member you will, in collaboration with the Chairperson and the other Board Members :
About You
You will have a passion for all things Adelaide, a high degree of professional integrity and depth of experience, knowledge and skill to complement the diversity of skills and backgrounds of our board members. You will be able to demonstrate high level experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas :
Applications are encouraged from owners of small and large businesses within the City of Adelaide.
Applicants with Board or Director experience as well as membership of the Australian Institute of Company Directors will be highly regarded.
AEDA Board Members receive $950 per board meeting attended.
