  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Services Manager to join our Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine. This role is pivotal in providing high-level operational advice and support to the Faculty Business Director and senior staff, ensuring effective resource management, service delivery, and governance across our five locations. You will :

  • Lead and mentor a team across financial services, HR, executive support, and office operations.
  • Drive business improvement projects that streamline services and improve outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and compliance with a keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Implement operational plans that align with Faculty goals and university-wide strategies.
  • Implement and manage Faculty strategic and operational plans.
  • About the person

    We are seeking someone who’s not just experienced, but strategic, proactive, and people-focused — someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and leads with confidence.

    Essential Criteria :

  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience of at least 5 years in a senior operational or administrative role.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams across multiple sites.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with HR and service contract management.
  • Change management and process improvement skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Desirable Criteria :

  • Qualifications in business, finance, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in higher education or healthcare environments.
  • Knowledge of Agile or LEAN methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Automate.

    The salary for the position commences at $109,525.60 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
