Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyer

This is a great opportunity for a lawyer with 2–5 years’ experience in restructuring and insolvency to join a tier‑one insolvency and banking litigation team. With a steady pipeline of complex work and direct access to major institutional clients, this role offers the chance to deepen your expertise across securities enforcement, external administrations, and commercial litigation.

You’ll be working closely with a senior partner recognised by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for their restructuring and insolvency expertise, with more than two decades of experience acting for Australia’s largest banks and insolvency practitioners. The team is known for its strategic, high‑stakes matters spanning federal and state jurisdictions — including secured recovery actions, advisory work for liquidators and administrators, and complex restructures with both domestic and cross‑border dimensions.

The team environment is collaborative and high‑performing, with a strong focus on excellence and shared success. There’s plenty of mentoring at every level, and junior lawyers are trusted to contribute meaningfully to litigation strategy, commercial advice, and client delivery.

You’ll be supported to deepen your relationships with some of the firm’s key clients — including several of the big four banks — while continuing to develop your technical expertise in a wide range of insolvency and financial disputes.
