Overview

Montgomery Advisory seeks an outstanding 2 to 4 year disputes lawyer to work primarily with a high-profile construction partner. The role involves acting for owners, developers, project sponsors, financiers, project managers, consultants and government agencies on a mix of dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration (including international), mediation and expert determination.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on all aspects of construction projects including pre-contract, project delivery methods, project finance, procurement, drafting standard and bespoke construction contracts.
Administer and interpret construction contracts.
Handle all forms of construction claims, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Maintain and foster client relationships and consistently present a positive image of self, the team and the firm.

Qualifications

Intermediate to senior level lawyer with 2 to 4 years of construction disputes experience.

General commercial disputes experience with a keen interest in specialising in construction is encouraged.

Developing professional profile and ability to develop an internal network beyond the practice group.
