Job Description
The Manager Airline Lounge Product is responsible for driving the commercial strategy and performance across Qantas Lounges’ global portfolio. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a strong commercial outcome and delivering exceptional customer experiences through revenue generation, cost management and strategic supplier engagement for Lounge usage.
This role oversees the management of key revenue streams, as well as significant supplier and operational costs, with a customer experience lens. The Manager, Airline Lounge Product will lead commercial negotiations and tenders, optimise revenue performance, optimise supplier performance, and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
This role leads one individual and will work closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute commercial initiatives, continually grow and improve commercial portfolio, identify commercial risks and opportunities, lead supplier tenders, and contract strategies that enhance the commercial sustainability and quality of the lounge experience for Qantas customers.
You’ll have :
5-10 years experience in commercial management and / or strategic roles, with a strong capability to develop detailed financial models and a comprehensive understanding of new business initiatives
Demonstrated experience in leading commercial portfolios and optimising both revenue and cost elements within complex environments
Expertise in managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and ensuring operational delivery aligns with strategic goals
Leadership and the ability to influence and drive collaboration across a multi-stakeholder environment, both internally and externally
Proactive in driving change and innovation, with a proven track record of leading initiatives to successful execution
Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
