Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNW’s mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism.

We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual who can support CTPNW in achieving its mission.

The National Border Targeting Centre (NBTC) supports CT Policing and other Law Enforcement Agencies to manage travel through the UK Borders.

Role

This role is specific to NBTC and will provide support and training to teams both within NBTC and the National CT Network as outlined below :

• To evaluate and improve learning and development programmes within NBTC, and share that learning with the CT Network in conjunction with the Organisational Learning & Workforce Development Branch and other training providers.
• To represent NBTC in working groups / work streams and seminars nationally, regionally and locally where required.
• To take ownership of specific training modules and review or revise lesson plans and training materials to address changes in curriculum and professional practice.
• To maintain and develop own subject matter expertise and monitor changes in learning and development as part of a programme of continued improvement.
• To create new training packages to coincide with new processes and system changes at NBTC.
• To keep up to date with new training techniques through local and regional engagement, and participate in the consultation and production of an annual regional training delivery plan.
