About the role

We are currently seeking for experienced Pathology Collectors in and around Romsey area.

Candidate must have at least 1 year experience in Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's, Holter and BP monitoring.
• Collect blood and other samples from patients.
• Process pathology specimens.
• Clerical duties and process paperwork.
• Work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres.

Skills and qualifications

• Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method.
• Experience in ECG's and Holter monitors.
• Experience in Paediatric and Neonatal Collections.
• Own car and current driver's licence is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Comply with Work Health and Safety.
• Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients.
• Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery.
• Requirement for current Working With Children check clearance upon commencement of employment.
