Overview

Join the team at Traffic Engineering Australia as a TMD Traffic Management Designer. This full-time role is based in our Ormeau office.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and delivering comprehensive traffic management plans for a range of projects and short-term works.
  • Providing expert guidance and technical advice to clients on traffic management and safety requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of traffic management solutions.
  • Conducting occasional site inspections, risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
  • Preparing detailed reports, drawings and documentation to support traffic management strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, guidelines and best practices.

What we're looking for

  • Qualified Traffic Management Designer (TMD), with a focus on temporary traffic management and engineering.
  • Prior experience with TMP / TGS and risk assessment development.
  • Ability to liaise with road infrastructure managers, clients and team members.
  • Thorough understanding of traffic management (TTM) legislation, standards (AS) and guidelines (QGTTM, AGTTM, MUTCD, CoP).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and technical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
