Overview

The Treasury Officer is responsible for accurate and timely processing of financial transactions in compliance with university policies. They maintain the integrity of general ledger entries and oversee daily cash flow activities, supporting preliminary phases of budgeting and forecasting.

  • Full time, fixed term opportunity until June 2026
  • Responsible for accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
  • Base Salary $103,185 + 17% superannuation

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Treasurer with project work as delegated
  • Support the Treasury Manager Operations with reporting improvements – use Power BI to improve month end / year end reconciliations
  • Responsible for updating annual statutory notes, Financial Risk Management note, Fair value, Cash and cash equivalents, bank guarantee and other facilities
  • Assist with Treasury Management System implementation
  • Support Treasury Manager Operations with PCI Compliance
  • About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the investment environment and management of a diverse investment portfolio
  • Excellent accounting and financial management skills and ability to manage electronic financial systems
  • Experience in a large corporate or public sector environment
  • Excellent time management skills with high levels of attention to detail
