Change and Release Manager | 12-Month Contract | ACT Location

Are you an experienced Change and Release Manager with a strong ITIL background and a passion for driving service improvement in complex ICT environments? A high-profile federal department is seeking a skilled professional to lead and manage change and release processes, ensuring effective governance and delivery across enterprise IT systems.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage Change and Release Management processes including planning, documentation, and execution.
  • Develop and improve change management frameworks, liaising with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Oversee deployment activities, Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs), and Service Improvement Plans (SIPs).
  • Ensure risk assessment, testing, and release governance across all Requests for Change (RFCs).

Key Requirements :

  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification (mandatory); other ITIL and DevOps certifications highly desirable.
  • Proven experience managing ICT Change, Release, and Deployment processes in enterprise environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
