Type : Full Time

Pay Range : A$120,000.00 / yr - A$150,000.00 / yr

The Opportunity

You’ll be a key part of our HSEQ team, partnering with leaders across the business to identify risks, audit our operations, and ensure compliance with legislation, policy, and best practice. This is a role for someone who thrives on detail, influence, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits and support external audit activities
  • Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory and internal business requirements
  • Manage the review, development and update of HSEQ policies and procedures
  • Maintain and monitor the business risk register
  • Analyse data and prepare actionable reports to senior management
  • Act as the liaison with Hutchison Ports Group Compliance on ICRM activities
  • Collate and complete regulatory safety and compliance reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the business in activities such as organising emergency drills, inspections and other HSEQ related initiatives

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a compliance or risk role, preferably within a BC industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Auditing certificate and hands-on auditing experience
  • Strong communication, influencing, and analytical skills
  • Legal or stevedoring / logistics background (desirable)
