Role Description / Criteria

St Mary's is a school of approximately 260 students 40km north of Melbourne. The northern corridor is the most rapidly growing area of Melbourne, and brings new and exciting opportunities in education.

Applicants require :

• A commitment to Catholic education and an understanding of the leadership role in Catholic education
• Evidence of qualifications additional to initial teacher education showing a committment on ongoing professional learning and development
• Relevant experience in Catholic parish primary schools, or currently in a role associated with and supporting Catholic parish primary schools
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education
• An ability to work with a dedicated team to plan for teaching and learning
• An understanding of the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement and an ability to lead the embedding of these within the school.
• Effective interpersonal and organisational skills
• A commitment to Child Safe Standards and the wellbeing of children
• Current VIT registration.
