The Role :
The Technical Business / System Analyst will excel at data interpretation, providing valuable insights that enable informed decision-making. Their attention to detail, analytical prowess, and ability to identify potential challenges contribute to the overall efficiency and success of project activities, fostering a collaborative and results-driven project management environment.
Primary Duties :
- Design and lead technical workshops to gather and analyse system requirements, integration points, data migration needs, and technical constraints.
- Collaborate with technical teams, architects, and developers to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and system design documents.
- Document technical requirements including system interfaces, data models, security requirements, and performance criteria.
- Work independently or collaboratively as required to design technical solutions that optimise system performance, data integrity, and integration capabilities.
- Create and maintain technical artifacts including system architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and data mappings.
- Lead the technical analysis process from design to implementation including :
Translating business requirements into technical specifications and system requirements.
Collaborating with technical teams to design and validate system architecture and integration approaches.Defining technical constraints, dependencies, and acceptance criteria; andDeveloping detailed data migration strategies and technical implementation roadmaps.Design system integrations, APIs, and data exchange mechanisms between enterprise systemsCreate technical documentation including system architecture diagrams, interface specifications, data models, and technical test cases.Evaluate technology options, identify potential technical risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategiesSkills and Experience Required :
Technical delivery experience with implemented ERP, including system configuration, integration, and data migration will be highly regarded.Excellent knowledge of IT Systems Development Lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodology.Comprehensive knowledge and skillsets associated with eliciting, documenting and managing requirements.Strong experience in the use of industry process modelling tools and requirements management tools.Strong knowledge of process modelling, data analysis and modelling.Location and Contract Term : This role is based in Canberra. 12 month contract with 2 x 6 month contract extension options.
Security Requirements : Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a baseline security clearance.
