Lead Business Analyst

The Role :

The Technical Business / System Analyst will excel at data interpretation, providing valuable insights that enable informed decision-making. Their attention to detail, analytical prowess, and ability to identify potential challenges contribute to the overall efficiency and success of project activities, fostering a collaborative and results-driven project management environment.

Primary Duties :

• Design and lead technical workshops to gather and analyse system requirements, integration points, data migration needs, and technical constraints.
• Collaborate with technical teams, architects, and developers to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and system design documents.
• Document technical requirements including system interfaces, data models, security requirements, and performance criteria.
• Work independently or collaboratively as required to design technical solutions that optimise system performance, data integrity, and integration capabilities.
• Create and maintain technical artifacts including system architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and data mappings.
• Lead the technical analysis process from design to implementation including :

Translating business requirements into technical specifications and system requirements.

Skills and Experience Required :

Location and Contract Term : This role is based in Canberra. 12 month contract with 2 x 6 month contract extension options.

Security Requirements : Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a baseline security clearance.
