We are seeking dual and / or single registered, Registered Midwives for our postnatal ward, delivery suite and Special Care Nursery.
Our midwives are dedicated to providing all aspects of pregnancy, birth and postnatal care in our antenatal clinics and services, on our maternity wards and in birth suites, in addition to caring for our babies in our special care nurseries.
You will take time with patients and their families supporting them through every step of their journey to being a parent.
The Position
Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the ward and within the hospital.
Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff.
Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
You will hold current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife or have dual registration as Registered Nurse Midwife with the ability to demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.

The Benefits
Salary : $82,945 to $106,630 (pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation
Hourly Rate : $52.30 to $67.24 per hour (includes casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
Casual and permanent part time positions available
