The Company

Work for a leading global organisation in the supply chain industry as part of their IT Service Desk team for Australia and New Zealand. They are seeking an enthusiastic IT person who will join as onsite Level 1 Support.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Regional IT, the Business Systems Support Specialist is responsible for operation of the ANZ IT Service Desk, ensuring all requests are addressed and resolved in adherence with the agreed service level and KPI indicators.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Provide support on client desktop / laptop systems including issue logging, analysis, resolution, and escalation when appropriate.
  • Triage all issues logged via ticketing software, inbound calls, and walk-ins.
  • OS and Applications support, installs, rebuilds, and upgrades.
  • Asset management including audits and maintenance, as well as change management and documentation of all processes.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a computing discipline and / or substantial experience in IT support. Experience in the following is essential :

  • Operating and delivering service desk services to enable responsive and effective user support.
  • Microsoft Operation Systems (Windows 10,11) and Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Active Directory (Hybrid Azure Environment, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong interpersonal, written, an oral communication skills.
  • Ability to present technical information in a simple user-friendly language.
