About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Work Skills (RTO 31384) as a Business Trainee. In this traineeship position based in Norman Park, Brisbane, QLD, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day‑to‑day administrative operations of our growing organisation. With a focus on providing exceptional customer service, you will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth running of our office.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and maintain electronic and physical filing systems
  • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails and phone enquiries
  • Provide administrative support to the wider team as required
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Year 12 School Leavers (optional) looking to gain some experience in the Administration field or learn fundamental skills for further learning
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to providing exceptional customer service
  • A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently
