- 255161Our Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to join their team.
This is a long-term contract role for 14 months with a possible extension of up to 2 X12 months, located at our Client's ACT location.
Lead and manage Agile coaches, Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, Agile delivery teamsProvide strategic direction and guidance for the Agile Delivery Section, contributing to outcomes of the branch and agency.Manage resource allocation for the Agile delivery section, including workforce planning across 10-15 multidisciplinary teams aligned to delivery plans and agency priorities.Ensure digital delivery aligns with agency priorities, meets user needs, is technologically sound, timely and affordable.Ensure digital staff understand their roles, are supported within their discipline, and work collaboratively to raise maturity and build culture.Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Develop and implement Agile methodologies, processes, and practices to improve delivery and team performanceIdentify and manage risks and issues related to Agile delivery and take corrective action as neededSupport the agency on its journey of digital transformation and digital maturity uplift.To be successful in this role you should have :
A Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; OR 10+ years of experience in software development (leading, managing or working within teams), with at least 5 years of experience in Agile development methodologiesExcellent written and verbal communication including development of briefs, executive presentationsProven experience managing high-performing software development teamsStrong understanding of Agile methodologies (ideally SAFe and Scrum)Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with Strong problem-solving and decision-making skillsDiversity and inclusion are strongly supported at Peoplebank.
