We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Electrician (Mechanical) to join us at the MRF (Material Recovery Facility) plant, where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and inclusive team of people.

The shift will be working on the day shift, between the times of 6am - 2pm with additional OT as required.

About The Role

Check and repair electrical circuits, undertake safety procedures and perform examination tasksFault finding (demonstrating fault-finding practices) including diagnosing faults using electrical schematics and standard practicesConduct inspections including testing, repairing, and maintaining electrical circuits.Respond to diagnostics and fault-finding practises in the plant at all times, predominately with conveyorsIdentify potential problems or efficiency improvements to a processConduct servicing and fault diagnosis on forklifts, trucks, conveyors and other mobile assetsResponsible for ensuring plant machines and equipment on site run smoothlyOverhaul, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical componentsRecord parts usage and request stock as requiredAdhere to OHS guidelines at all timesReport and document equipment defects and service actions in the MEX systemCommunicate and report to internal management when required

About You

Previous experience in maintenance fitting in waste management, recycling or a manufacturing working environment would be highly regardedA Grade Electrical license is essentialCertificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade is desirable but not mandatoryExposure to maintenance systems such as MEX would be highly regardedKnowledge of MRF equipment or similar industrial plant would be highly regarded and ability to troubleshootExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesKnowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulationsBe committed to safe & quality work practices
