This opportunity

The Data & Insights Analyst role is a critical role within Customer Lifecycle Management team providing insights and recommendations to support the delivery of TPG Telecom Limited’s commercial strategy through the effective management of the Vodafone customer base.

As an integral member of the team, this role uses a proactive approach to demonstrate the value of analytics and insights and how it can be applied to inform business decisions which improve customer lifecycle management, achieve commercial targets and identify growth opportunities, while strengthening customer relationship and growing life time value.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with key business stakeholders to translate complex business questions into analytical tasks
• Regularly update stakeholders on findings and insights that can be applied to develop growth strategy and improve CLM campaign effectiveness
• Perform data and statistical analysis to understand how customer behaviour, product & pricing changes and campaign effectiveness impact revenues and subscribers
• Develop methodologies to effectively measure campaign uplift and incremental gains
• Develop and run robust performance dashboards and visualisation that support self-serve reporting

Knowledge and experience

• Relevant professional experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst within data and analytics domain, for data extraction, data ingestion, data segregation, query optimisation and data integration
• Working knowledge of data platforms – Teradata, AWS (or similar) cloud-based data platform
• Advanced data mining and SQL skills and working knowledge of campaign systems and platforms (SAS)
• Proficiency in understanding data, entity relationship, structured & unstructured data, SQL databases
• Ability to work on multiple activities at one time, working towards efficiency and accuracy
• Great stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills; systematic, analytical thinker with ability to design and implement analytical solutions and deliver actionable business insights
