We have a great opportunity for an outgoing and service focused Receptionist / Guest Service Agent to support the Front Office, Sales and Banqueting teams at our stunning Alamanda Palm Cove Hotel.
About the role
Help deliver exceptional guest experiences at every part of the journey including reservations, arrivals, departures and throughout their stayBe an ambassador for the hotel, positively representing and promoting our boutique brandBe a key part of the guest experience, interacting wherever and whenever possibleHelp to ensure a smooth check in and out process for our guests utilizing the Hotel's PMS systemAnswer and process reservation enquiries, make recommendations and upsell rooms according to availabilityCoordinate with other departmentsAnswer and dispatch both incoming external and internal callsMaintain sufficient knowledge of all room rates and available packagesFollow up on all guest requests and complaintsBe a key part of the guest experience, interacting wherever and whenever possibleSupport the operational teams with administrative tasks as requiredAbout you
Have a desire to genuinely help peopleExcellent telephone technique and the ability to maintain friendly relations with both our internal and external customersGood time management and communication skillsWell-developed computer knowledge and strong administrative skillsYou have a warm, personable yet professional dispositionFront Office / reservation experience preferred but not essentialSuccess in a similar role preferred but not essential, we are employing on attitude not just experienceDeliver exceptional guest service and get a kick out of helping, problem-solving and being accountable for your workloadAn acute eye for detail and exceptional interactive social skillsAbility to work under pressure in a varied, fast paced environment, by taking initiative and working collaborativelyPositive mindset and a can do attitudeAbout us
