Contract Administrator – Wind Farm Project

Project : Utility-scale wind farm (construction phase)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support the delivery of a large-scale wind farm during the construction phase. Reporting to the Commercial Manager (or Project Manager, depending on structure), you will play a key role in managing commercial administration, contract compliance, and cost control across multiple work packages.
This is a hands-on, site-facing role requiring strong commercial discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with delivery, engineering, and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements in accordance with contract terms and project procedures
- Manage variations, progress claims, payment schedules, and supporting documentation
- Track and maintain accurate records of contract correspondence, notices, and approvals
- Support cost control, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Assist with subcontract procurement, contract award documentation, and onboarding
- Ensure compliance with contractual, commercial, and governance requirements
- Liaise with site teams, engineers, planners, and external contractors to resolve commercial issues
- Support claims preparation, assessment, and negotiation as required
- Contribute to commercial risk identification and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle
About You
Proven experience as a Contract Administrator on construction or infrastructure projectsExperience in renewable energy, wind, civil, electrical, or major infrastructure projects highly regardedStrong understanding of construction contracts (e.g. AS, bespoke EPC / subcontract agreements)High level of commercial acumen with strong document control and reporting skillsConfident communicator able to work across site and corporate teamsDetail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environmentProficient in MS Excel and contract / cost management systemsQualifications (Desirable)
Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or similarRelevant contract or commercial certifications (advantageous but not essential)What’s on Offer
