An opportunity exists for a motivated WHS Coordinator to join our Q&S team based on a full-time basis. You will work in the Victorian / Tasmanian business unit team under an experienced WHS Coordinator and be responsible for the management and investigation of incidents and injuries, auditing and implementation of safety and quality initiatives across a large multisite organisation.

  • Key Accountabilities include
  • Management of incidents and investigations across multiple sites.
  • Drafting, implementation and review of national policies and procedures as part of the larger Safety Management System
  • Development of training packages to support implementation of Q&S processes.
  • Development of Q&S Initiatives as part of the broader national team
  • Auditing of legislative and policy compliance at sites
  • Exposure and management of high severity Workcover Claims and non-work-related injuries in conjunction with Q&S Team.

  • To be successful in this role you will need to have
  • A minimum of a Cert IV or degree in WHS / OHS
  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm for Safety and Quality
  • The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Good understanding of WHS legislation
  • Experience in incident investigation
  • Some auditing expereince

It would also be desirable but not essential to have had previous exposure to :

  • Injury Management including Workers Compensation
  • Experience in a Healthcare environment
  • Developing and rolling our training and awareness packages to support Q&S Initiatives
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Policy
