We are seeking a passionate and skilled Woodwork and Metalwork Teacher to join our dynamic Design and Technologies team. The successful applicant will inspire students through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in woodwork, metalwork, and design, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Woodwork and Metalwork across secondary year levels
  • Promote safe workshop practices and maintain high standards of workplace safety
  • Develop student capability in design thinking, craftsmanship, and the use of modern and traditional tools and technologies
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of the Design and Technologies learning area
  • Engage positively with students, parents, and colleagues to support each learner’s growth and wellbeing
  • About You :

  • A qualified and registered Teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Woodwork, Metalwork, or Design and Technologies subjects
  • Strong practical skills and knowledge of safe workshop operations
  • A passion for fostering creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning
  • A commitment to the values and ethos of an Anglican school community
