We are seeking a passionate and skilled Woodwork and Metalwork Teacher to join our dynamic Design and Technologies team. The successful applicant will inspire students through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in woodwork, metalwork, and design, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Woodwork and Metalwork across secondary year levelsPromote safe workshop practices and maintain high standards of workplace safetyDevelop student capability in design thinking, craftsmanship, and the use of modern and traditional tools and technologiesContribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of the Design and Technologies learning areaEngage positively with students, parents, and colleagues to support each learner’s growth and wellbeingAbout You :
A qualified and registered Teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)Demonstrated experience in teaching Woodwork, Metalwork, or Design and Technologies subjectsStrong practical skills and knowledge of safe workshop operationsA passion for fostering creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learningA commitment to the values and ethos of an Anglican school communityWhy Join GMAS?
