Senior Learning Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Learning Designer to support academic and profesional staff in enhancing the student learning experience and ensuring student success.

About the Opportunity

At the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) we lead strategic teaching and learning initiatives. The role requires extensive knowledge and experience in curriculum and learning design within higher education. Candidates will demonstrate project management skills, initiative, independence and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support academic teaching staff in whole‑course learning and curriculum design, assessment and activity design, engaging content design.
• Apply learning design principles and evidence‑based approaches to improve learning outcomes.
• Facilitate transformation of curriculum and practice with high quality, engaging, innovative approaches appropriate for online and face‑to‑face teaching.
• Champion emerging technologies and new pedagogical approaches to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, staff and management at all levels.
• Work positively and effectively as part of a collaborative team while also working independently.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
