Job descriptionTutor Group Classes – Impact education of multiple students at once! High Quality Resources – Teach from a workbook, no need to design resources. Student Ecosystem – Homework, workshops, practice exams, 24 / 7 support, LMS. World‑Class Training Support – Hands‑on training, class sit‑ins, personalised feedback. Growth Path – Tutor → Senior Tutor → Team Leader → Head of Subject. Flexibility – Evening and weekend classes fit university schedules. Competitive Pay & Benefits – $50–$75 / hour base with bonuses. Unique Perks – Monthly team allowance, birthday leave. Teach – Deliver clear, structured VCE English Language lessons for mainstream, Language, or Literature. Coach – Motivate students to engage, practice deliberately, and improve week‑to‑week. Mentor – Share study strategies and relatable stories to build confidence. Connect – Build genuine connections; relatable and inspiring. 99+ ATAR and 45+ raw study score in VCE English Language (or equivalent). First‑year university level knowledge or above in English, Arts, or related Humanities. Tutoring experience in VCE English Language (favourable). Academic Awards in English Language (favourable). Past VCE Graduate. Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts. Energy, empathy, independence, proactive mindset. Honesty, integrity, genuine passion for teaching. Full academic year commitment (no overseas exchange trips for 8 weeks). Ability to commit to weekly classes with minimum 10+ hours availability per week. Travel to our campuses (Glen Waverley, CBD, Box Hill, Narre Warren or Point Cook). Alignment with Contour’s mission (Signed NDA and non‑compete required). Genuine desire to motivate students. Submit written application (CV and study scores). Submit a short video (5–10 minutes) of you tutoring with a sample workbook. Attend an in‑person interview, which includes Q&A and teaching a mock small‑group class.
