About the Role

Permanent Part-time-AM (Monday / Saturday / Sunday)

Location

Located in the Mandurah area, Aegis Greenfields caters for up to 106 residents and provides high quality care services in a homely, modern, and welcoming living environment. Aegis Greenfields utilize state-of-the-art equipment providing Residents with quality care and easier working conditions for our staff.

About You

You should be an empathetic person who possesses the following qualities :

  • A commitment and genuine passion for Aged Care.
  • An ability to inspire trust and proactively lead, coach, develop and mentor both unregulated care workers, care, and lifestyle staff.

Within this role you will be a champion of high quality, safe and effective nursing that aligns with the resident preference and best practice by :

  • Undertaking clinical, social and self-care assessments.
  • Anticipate Residents changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals.
  • Support Residents and their families by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns.

    • You will be responsible for compliance :

  • Ensuring all care documentations are completed with the appropriate strategies implemented.
  • Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting.

    • Your role within the team would involve :

  • Supporting, coaching, monitoring, and mentoring the unregulated care workers.
  • Providing support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and clinical expertise to the care team.

    • We need you to possess the following accreditation, skills and working rights :

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.
  • A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
  • Full Australian working rights and be able to pass a national police clearance.
