Job Description

Headwaters School, a Pre-K through grade 12 independent day school serving over 500 students across its three campuses in Austin, TX, will be hiring Middle School and High School Teaching Faculty for the 2026-2027 school year which begins on August 1st, 2026.

Teaching Faculty are responsible for :

• Teaching 4 sections of their designated subject;
• Contributing to two other areas of school life, including athletic or extracurricular programs;
• Serve as a student advisor, supervise students during lunchtime, study halls, recess periods (if applicable), afternoon activities, library, chaperone at student events, participate in student retreats, community service days, and attend team meetings, as assigned.

Qualified candidates will have a degree in their teaching subject or a closely related field and prior teaching experience in grades 6-8 or grades 9-12.
