About The Opportunity

The Emergency Department at South Western Sydney LHD is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer (Level 3) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the smooth operation of our department, ensuring timely and accurate administrative support to clinical staff and patients alike.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and proven experience in administrative tasks. You’ll be confident using a range of computer systems and applications, managing patient records, scheduling, and handling enquiries with professionalism and empathy. What You'll Be Doing
The Emergency Department (ED) administration officer provides a range of administrative and support services to ensure an effective and efficient service is maintained with a strong customer focused approach.

Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.
The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital.
