We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Instrumentation and Control Site Engineer to join the Woodman Point Team! In this role, you will be responsible for complying with all technical requirements associated with off-site factory testing, installation works on site, subsequent site acceptance testing, commissioning and start of the project instrumentation, control & communications system.

Clough, as part of an alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the Woodman Point Water Treatment Facility Upgrade, a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.

Your focus will include:

• Accountable for performance and delivery of engineering services to support project outcomes against agreed project budgets and schedules.

• Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders including the Project Engineering team, Site Supervision, Subcontractors, Client and Vendors.

• Actively participate in the completion of construction and commissioning work on site, including involvement with Installation Test Records and close-out of punch list items.

• Contribute to a positive safety culture.

What you will bring to the team:

• Degree qualified with 10+ years of experience in I&C Engineering.

• Site experience within Construction and Commissioning environment.

• Good knowledge of processing plants and power generation stations.

• Extensive working knowledge of I&C communications and control systems (PLC and SCADA systems)

• Familiarity with Siemens automation and control software (SIMATIC PCS7, TIA Portal, WinCC, TopServer) and Schneider Electric SCADA software (GeoSCADA) (formal certification would be highly regarded)

• Practical working experience with industrial communication protocols such as installation, testing and commissioning complex control networks (Profibus DP, Profibus PA, Profinet, Modbus TCP, Modbus RS485, fibre optic, DNP3, OPC etc.)

• Experience in integrating IEC61850 communication with electrical equipment such as relays, circuit breakers and protection systems

• Experience in communication and interoperability between VSDs, Simocodes, other electrical equipment

• Ability to prepare and review works packs and commissioning procedures
