Conference Events Supervisor

We currently have an exciting opportunity foran experienced Conference & Events (Banquets) Supervisor. Supervising the operations in banqueting to ensure our events run as smoothly as possible. The Conference Centre presents itself as a unique designer space with 11 purposebuilt meeting rooms allowing for endless possibilities.

The Banquets Supervisor will be primarily responsible for the operational requirements of the banqueting department but may also be required to work some shifts in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Meet & greetat the commencement of the event run through the planned program note any changes and advise other departments accordingly
• Supervise lead and manage the banquets team
• Ensure that any guest requests are handled promptly and courteouslyproviding an outstanding and memorable guest experience.
• Coordinating team members to ensure events run smoothly
• Be operational hands on assisting the team
• Supervise and execute function room set up and service to ensure client needs are met according to the event order
