Who are we looking for?

A passionate and dedicated Developmental Educator / Early Childhood Teacher to join AnglicareSA's Autism-Specific Early Learning and Care Centre (ASELCC) to contribute to high quality group-based intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In this highly rewarding role, you will work alongside allied health professionals and early childhood educators in a vibrant and creative environment.

What can you expect to be doing?

• Develop, deliver and evaluate the preschool curriculum within the National Quality Framework, including individual education plans that address the unique needs of the child.
• Work collaboratively with families and provide strategies and support for children and families to work towards their NDIS goals.
• Support the development, implementation and review of positive behaviour support plans for children with autism.
• Be actively involved in the mentoring of staff and students to ensure the highest levels of service delivery and program development.

What do you need to bring?

• Bachelor’s degree in Disability and Developmental Education and full registration with the DEAI.
• Experience providing therapeutic services to children, young people and adults across a variety of settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively both in a team environment and autonomously.
• Solid organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to build strong, positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
