Job descriptionCommitment to achieving the Leadership and Management Award (Level 5). Previous management / supervisory experience. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Willingness to participate as duty on call as necessary. Ability to ensure adequate staff cover. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Genuine interest in working with the relevant client group. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff. Ability to make clinically sound, effective decisions. Job Type : Full-time, 42.5 hours per week. Location : Meadows Park – Louth. Salary : £12.50 per hour. Discounted or free food. Employee discount. On-site parking. Day shift. Louth : reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
Overview
Deputy Care Manager – Meadows Park at Tanglewood Care Homes. Location : Meadows Park, Louth. Hours : Full-Time.
Responsibilities
- To ensure that the standards of care delivered to residents and records are maintained.
- To ensure the employees of the care home receive appropriate induction, training and support to fulfil the obligations of their job description.
- To assist the Registered Manager in the completion of all compliance audits.
- Lead the team; provide leadership and management to ensure the highest standards in all areas of the home including clinical / dementia care.
- Monitor and control sickness and absence in line with Company policy.
- Assist the Registered Manager with formal supervision / appraisal of staff members and ongoing informal assessments of staff work.
- Support the Registered Manager to ensure the ongoing financial viability of the service – maximising occupancy and income.
